Kris Aquino on th3atening Nicko Falcis: “Who said that?”

Kris Aquino on th3atening Nicko Falcis: “Who said that?”

Kris Aquino camp says Nicko Falcis texted “sorry” to Kris for purchases made on KCAP credit card.

Kris Aquino to Nicko Falcis: “That’s why I can say it, I can forgive you. But show me. That you’re at least trying to meet me halfway because I’ve done more than my share.”

Kris Aquino did not budge on the allegation that she threatened Nicko Falcis’ life.

Nicko was Kris’ former business manager, whom she filed a complaint for 44 counts of qualified theft in seven cities in Metro Manila.

“Who said it? Or maybe it was Nicko who said it,” were Kris’ parting words to PEP.ph and several other media outlets before leaving the Mandaluyong Prosecutor’s Office, this Thursday afternoon, November 15.

Here, Kris personally swore to eight of the 44 counts of the qualified theft complaint he filed there.

Kris’ other complaints against Nicko have been submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of Quezon City, Makati, San Juan, Pasig, Taguig, and Manila.

In a separate press conference this morning, Nicko’s brother, Atty. Jesus “Jess” Falcis, spoke about Kris’ alleged threats against Nicko.

Nicko was not present at the press conference because he is currently abroad. Atty. Falcis acted as spokesperson for the Falcis family, who issued a statement.

According to Kris, Atty. Falcis’ statements reached him.

“Actually, I’m okay.

“I purposely read what was said.

“I didn’t watch because you don’t want to watch, but you would want to read, so you know what was said and whether it can be fixed or not.”

Kris then took a dig at Nicko’s brother’s alleged interference, even though the legal battle was only between the TV host/actress/web star and her former co-worker at Kris C. Aquino Productions (KCAP).

It is said that Kris received Atty. Falcis’ attack on her through his tweets on Twitter.

Kris read some of them:

“So, yesterday, this is what was said, ‘Oh, there’s something really taunting me about blowing people’s brains out because of yellow shit. As long as I love PNoy. He was good for the economy…’

Kris added that Atty. Falcis was saying: “But continuing, this was dated October 22, ‘Yes, wait, you might think I’m a DDS when we make a statement, if they still don’t stop with the lies.”

According to Atty. Falcis: “‘Remember we are just a ‘Romualdez,’ and they are an established dynasty.'”

After this, Kris said that these posts by Atty. Falcis have been deleted from Twitter.

But because it was unclear what Kris said, specifically when Atty. Falcis said he was Romualdez, Kris should have been asked about it.

But at this point, Kris continued to talk about her lack of sympathy for her siblings in their issue with Nicko.

Kris said about Atty. Falcis, “It’s simple, huh? I’ve never met you.

“I also checked because maybe someone would tell my brother—he has never met my brother.”

“Even Nicko has never met my brother.

“So, this isn’t a family feud.”

“This is something that is unfortunate.

“But I will repeat this—kasi the last statement was we are open for an amicable settlement. We tried six times. What changed?”

KRIS TO NICKO: “SHOW ME AGAIN.”

Kris admits that if there is anyone she owes her heart to, it is only Nicko.

Especially since Nicko is said to have helped him get back on his feet when he had to jump on the digital platform after losing his job in television.

“I will direct this to Nicko. He’s the one who had a major contribution in my life. We have gratitude.

“I’m sorry that it came to this, but I had to see papers I should not have seen, but unfortunately I did.”

Patuloy ni Kris, “This could have been fixed. And I will reiterate that six times nag-attempt ang side namin.

“If you keep being rejected, then you’re the one who’s aggrieved, there’s something wrong there.”

However, Kris says she doesn’t lose hope that she and Nicko can still make things right.

“I hope this could have been fixed if it was just the two of us.

“And you’re saying that I hired powerful lawyers, powerful friends.”

“Why wouldn’t I do that? Well, this is my children’s future?”

“Well, that’s what hurts, huh. We considered you family.”

Kris added, “That’s why I can say, I can forgive you.

“But show me.”

“Na you’re at least trying to meet me halfway because I’ve done more than my share.

“Every time I’ve had a milestone in my life, I shared it with you.

“I no longer blame you for all the health woes I went through because ibinigay ko na yun kay God.

“It’s really up to him.”

According to the statement read by Atty. Falcis for his family today, the reason Nicko did not return home was the threat to his life by Kris.

Now they are still thinking about how Nicko can enter the Philippines safely, especially if the court requires his presence.

OUR NICKO FALCIS

According to Kris, she tried not to name Nicko in the qualified theft complaint she filed in seven cities in Metro Manila.

“I did not make any unreasonable demands. My lawyers were being fair.”

In a direct address to Nicko, he said: “You were never named until last night. You know why I did not name you?

“Because I know how many followers I have. And I didn’t want to do this to ruin your life.”

“If you have fans—blindly, whether you’re right or wrong, they will agree with you.

“That’s why, when you’re pushed against the wall, and your entire credibility is under attack, that’s all I hold on to.”

“That’s what I provide for my children. So I want this fixed.”

NICKO GAVE BACK P437,595

After Kris left, PEP.ph had the opportunity to interview her lawyer, Philip Sigfrid Fortun.

Atty. Fortun confirmed that the “actual damages” stated in the qualified theft complaint filed by Kris against Nicko are PHP1.27M.

The lawyer also confirmed that Kris is in possession of text messages in which Nicko can be seen “sorrying” for using the KCAP credit card and other misunderstandings between him and the TV host-actress.

Atty. Fortun explained, “I think when you said you already made an admission, so you already gave comments about it.

“That constitutes already a confirmation what it was that actually occurred.

“Everything is all for the prosecutor to evaluate.”

Finally, Atty. Fortun was asked for a reaction regarding Atty. Falcis’ statement that it was strange to file a theft complaint due to the alleged use of a credit card.

Atty. Falcis is right, credit cards can be considered debt and not hard cash.

Does it really matter whether money or a credit card was used in the theft complaint?

Sagot ni Atty. Fortun, “I really don’t know, because all of those are the arguments of the lawyer, e.

“But one thing for sure is that if there is already an admission to that effect, that there was credit card used.

“I think it’s the prosecutor who can make the decision on the matter, whether it’s weak or strong.”

The lawyer, however, avoided answering the question of Nicko’s return of a check worth P437,595.67 to Kris on September 19.

Atty. Fortun replied, “You know more than I do.”

In Kris’ complaint affidavit, it was stated that this happened after she discovered that Nicko used the credit card for alleged “personal expenses” without permission.

Ayon sa complaint: “Even with his attempt at reparation, however, respondent’s misappropriation of KCAP’s credit was a complete fact—done in serious breach of my trust—which monetary recompense alone could not make right.

“Hence, this Complaint.”

The next hearing of Kris’ complaint against Nicko is scheduled for November 26 at the Mandaluyong Prosecutor’s Office.

Nicko’s camp also submitted a counter-affidavit today.

Mandaluyong senior assistant prosecutor, Lourdes Javelosa-Indunan, reminded that on December 13, the Omnibus Complaints of both parties were “submitted for resolution.”

PEP.ph remains open to any statements from the personalities mentioned in this article.
