The morning of August 14, 2014.

It was just a normal day for the people of Calumpit, Bulacan.

But they were shocked by an unexpected incident, the body of a young woman was found floating lifeless in a rice field in Barangay Sapang Bayan, right in Calumpit, Bulacan.

She had been stabbed multiple times in the neck and it was clear that she had been raped because she was no longer wearing underwear.

The woman was later identified as Anria Galang Espiritu due to the discovery of the girl’s body.

And when her parents found out, authorities immediately conducted an investigation and here they confirmed that this was not just a simple case of murder because it was discovered that the victim was raped not by just one person but by four men.

Who are the suspects? Well, stay tuned, my friend, because we’re about to find out what hell a defenseless woman went through at the hands of demonic men.

And this is the Anria Espiritu Gang Rape and Murder Case.

The woman you see in the photo is Anria.

She was 26 years old at the time and the eldest child of Antonio and Gloria Espiritu.

According to her mother, Anria is a good child.

She also graduated from AMA University and is currently working in a company in Bulacan as an HR.

Anria’s beauty is undeniable and her charm is undeniable, which is why men really notice her.

Anria is known as a loving, cheerful, and friendly child.

After work, she often hangs out with her coworkers and according to her friends, she stays up until dawn when she hangs out.

Her boyfriend described her as a thoughtful young woman and a loving girlfriend.

They had many dreams, and one of them was to get married in 2014.

But when, for some unknown reason, their wedding that year was postponed and rescheduled to 2015, it caused the young woman to feel bad for her boyfriend.

Because of this, the woman ignored her boyfriend and even started gossiping more with her coworkers.

Aling Gloria noticed that her daughter was often quiet and she also noticed that the young woman wore short dresses and shorts, which did not please her as a mother.

So she told her, “Don’t go home late at night and avoid wearing short silk dresses that will attract the attention of men.”

But Anria didn’t listen and continued her fun.

Until one day, what her mother had feared happened.

On the night of August 13, the girl was reported to have gone out.

But by 2:00 in the morning, she still hadn’t returned home, which caused her mother to worry.

She tried calling Anria’s phone but she wasn’t answering.

They also called one of Anria’s friends, but he said that the girl had already returned home in a jeep.

Her friend thought she had returned home because they hadn’t gone anywhere else.

Because of this, the anxiety in Anria’s mother’s chest grew even more.

This caused the family to ask other acquaintances, but they failed to find her location.

Because of that, Anria’s parents couldn’t sleep that night and all they could do was wait for her to come home, but when the sun rose, they still failed to catch a glimpse of her.

The next day, August 14, the Espiritu family received the disturbing news that a woman’s body was found floating in a rice field in Barangay Sapang Bayan, Calumpit, Bulacan.

Aling Gloria’s heart almost broke with emotion upon hearing this news and she almost fainted.

Even though they prayed softly and fervently, they really hoped that it was not their daughter.

However, they insisted on going to the area and here they confirmed that Anria was the victim.

All her family could do was scream and wail.

The investigation showed that the girl had been repeatedly raped because when she was found, her underwear, specifically her underwear, was missing.

It was also said that she had been severely tortured.

In the distance, a screwdriver and a thick chain were seen where the woman was thrown.

It turns out that the woman was tied up with the chain and they started raping her repeatedly.

Only then do you realize that the woman has no resistance.

What can a woman do to the strength of a man?

“Oops! Wait a minute, friend.

Was it just one man?” According to the results of her medico-legal examination, it was found that not just one person committed the crime, but four men.

Four types of semen were found from his body, proving that the woman was indeed being feasted on.

Just imagine, friend, the nightmare Anria went through at the hands of the people who beat her.

Chained while being dragged, unable to fight back and helpless.

After this, the demons were not satisfied and even though the woman did not fight back, they even stabbed her after raping her.

What they did to the girl was simply so brutal that you can’t say that the person who did it was in their right mind.

Multiple stab wounds were found on the woman’s body, which is believed to have caused her instant death.

After torturing and beating her, they took her life.

For several days, authorities were unable to find the main suspecTS.

However, on August 18, while Anria was currently in mourning, a man identified as Elmer Joson went to the hill to pay his respects along with his live-in partner Jonisha Dela.

Elmer Joson was also identified as the driver’s assistant.

He further stated that Anria was his passenger on the night of August 14, before the crime occurred.

But Anria’s mother began to doubt Elmer’s story, especially when she noticed the scratches on his neck and face.

Because of this, they immediately contacted the police.

This is why Elmer Joson was immediately taken to the precinct.

At the precinct, the police ordered him to remove his t-shirt to confirm the scratches on his body.

Here it was seen that he did indeed have scratches.

But later, Joson’s live-in partner spoke up and said that they had had a fight and that he was the one who did it.

However, when the police compared the scratches and wounds on Joson’s body with the scratches from his face and legs, it was noticeable that the scratches on his body were almost healed compared to the scratches on his neck, which were clearly still fresh.

Because of this, he was temporarily detained while the investigation continued.

Fortunately, witnesses emerged who put more pressure on Joson.

And with this revelation, two more suspects were arrested, identified as Melvin Ulam and Ramil Darshaya.

According to the witness, he allegedly saw Ramil Joson… Melvin and Ramil are both suspecTS.

Joson’s defense was that he did not know Melvin Ulam and Ramil Darshaya.

However, his lie did not prevail because another witness came forward and said that he saw the three of them eating together at a restaurant and they were even talking.

Therefore, it is highly unlikely that they did not know each other.

Because of this, it appears that the police have confirmation due to the evidence they have gathered.

Their names were given more emphasis when another witness appeared.

According to him, the screwdriver they found at the crime scene belonged to him but Ramil Darshaya borrowed it.

And since all the testimonies that the authorities obtained from the witnesses were connected, they immediately used it to file a case against them.

On the other hand, authorities are currently searching for another suspect known as Alyas Calbo, but he was also later arrested.

Because of this and the help of a kind lawyer who provided free services to the Espiritu family to fight the case, the court found them guilty and charged them with rape and homicide, punishable by life imprisonment.
